Diani is Kenya's best-known beach, a long stretch of white sand south of Mombasa with a coral reef offshore and coastal forest behind. It is the most common place to finish a Kenya safari with a few days by the sea.

Around 45 minutes to an hour by road from Mombasa via the Likoni ferry, depending on queues. Ukunda airstrip, close to Diani, has scheduled flights from Nairobi.
